Not only the hardware has been rebuild from the ground up, every byte of software is new, too. You'll still be playing a pretty simple tennis game, but it has been enhanced with lots of features:
Many different bonus symbols appear on screen and result in multiplied pain, multiballs, shrunk bars, reversed directions etc. and will also trigger other effects like the flashlight.
Different gameplay modes with certain "special conditions" make the gameplay more varying. In "Close combat" for example the player bars move to the middle of the screen resulting in faster rallies and a more hectic gameplay.
